And it runs from New Delhi to Varanasi and from Delhi to Katra. The specialty of this train is that the body of all the coaches are made out of stainless steel car body with sliding footsteps, onboard train control computer and automatic doors with remote monitoring. Vande Bharat Express gives you a stupendous travelling experience.
Gatimaan Express which was launched in 2016 is second in the list. Previously, Gatimaan Express was the fastest one but, after the induction of Vande Bharat Express is shifted to the second position. The maximum speed of this train is 160 kmph. It runs between Delhi to Jhansi. Also, it is unquestionably one of the most luxurious trains in India.
New Delhi-Bhopal Shatabdi Express
With the top speed of 150 kmph New Delhi-Bhopal Shatabdi Express is third in this ranking. This express is one of the most prioritised train in India Railways. Just like Gatimaan Express, this train was again the fastest one until the launch of Gatimaan Express in the year 2016. This train runs from New Delhi to Habibganj (Bhopal) and vis-a-vis.
Mumbai-New Delhi Rajdhani Express
Rajdhani Express trains, most of us might already know that they are the top priority trains in Indian Railways. Among all the Rajdhani trains, the Mumbai-New Delhi Rajdhani Express is counted as one of the fastest trains in India. The maximum speed of this train is 140 kms per hour. The top speed of this train can be compared with one more train which runs with the similar speed, it is New Delhi-Kanpur Shatabdi Express.
New Delhi – Howrah Rajdhani Express
Do you know that the top speed of this train is around 135 km/h. This train runs on two different routes. The first one is from Howrah to New Delhi through Gaya. And the other one runs from Howrah to New Delhi through Patna. The number of major cities fall on these routes like Prayagraj, Kanpur, Mughalsarai, Patna, Gaya.
