Indian Cobra
Indian Cobrais popularly known as “Nag” in India. It is one of the most dangerous snakes found in India. Their habitats are mostly found inforests along the banks of rivers, in the fields and around the villages. They prey on reptiles, lizards and frogs. Russell Viper

The King Cobra
This snake is the longest venomous snake in the world. Its length goes up to 15 feet. They mostly live in rainforests, moist forests, calm swamps and bamboo forests. It is distinguishable from other cobras, most noticeably by its size and neck patterns. Although these are very venomous snakes and their bites are more likely to cause death, but fortunately, they bite very few people.
Indian Pit Viper
Indian Green Pit Viper is also known as “Bamboo Viper” or “Tree Viper” in India. These snakes mainly live in bushes and on bamboo trees. These snakes make frogs, lizards and insects their prey. They usually attain a length up to 2.5 feet. The species of Indian Green Pit is mostly found on the Western Ghats of India.
